01Start with the actual goal
Your movement history, training experience, current program, available equipment, and performance priorities shape the assessment. The goal is not to impose a generic workout, but to identify the changes that will make your training more effective.
02Refine movement under meaningful load
Coaching may address squat, hinge, press, pull, carry, landing, deceleration, or other task-specific mechanics. Technique is evaluated in the context of your body, your goals, and the loads you need to tolerate rather than against one supposedly perfect form.
03Build capacity progressively
Strength, volume, range, speed, and complexity are progressed with purpose. Objective testing may be used to establish baselines, identify asymmetries, and determine whether the plan is producing meaningful change.
